Chalk festival
Join the Chenango Valley High School Art Club for a day of creativity and competition at the 1st Annual Rebecca Mercik Student Chalk Festival: "Sidewalk Showdown" between Chenango Valley and Chenango Forks!

Date: Saturday, May 11
Time: 10 AM - 3 PM
Location: In front of Chenango Valley High School

Watch our talented students as they transform the sidewalks into vibrant artworks. Eric Maruscak, a 1989 Chenango Valley High School grad and professional artist, will be a judge!

There will also be a special area for younger children to show their creativity with chalk. Bring a chair, pack some snacks, and enjoy a day filled with art, inspiration, and community spirit!

This event is in honor of Rebecca Mercik, whose visionary leadership as Art Club President inspired the creation of this wonderful festival.

**If you plan to attend the May 11 Walk-a-thon at the stadium, you can stop by afterward to check this event out!**

can and bottle collection bins
Did you know that you can support the CV French Exchange Program and The BaCh (performing arts booster club) all year round, while also recycling your old cans and bottles? Conveniently drop off your recyclables in the CV French Exchange Program collection bin located near the recycling area at Port Dickinson Elementary, or in the Bottles for BaCh bin next to the recycling zone by the Chenango Valley Middle/High School. These bins are accessible year-round, and your continuous support is appreciated!
